AUTO DISCOUNTERS was founded by Charles Dimitris who has lived in Chesterfield County since 1972. Charles graduated from Midlothian High School in 1980, then attended the Nashville Auto Diesel College, embarking on a career as an auto mechanic. In 1991, he opened his first car dealership in Richmond, Virginia, called World Auto Center. In the mid-nineties he moved his dealership and changed the name to Automart, Inc. After much success, Charles sold his dealership and focused on the wholesale side of the automotive industry.
Charles always enjoyed running a car dealership, but it was not until he and his younger brother, Chris, teamed up that he was able to devote the time necessary to make a successful dealership. Chris also had a lot of car sales experience. The two of them worked together to create AUTO DISCOUNTERS. Chris attended Monacon High School and graduated from VCU with a degree in Business Administration and Management.
Upon graduating from VCU Chris began his career in the automotive industry by going to work for a well-known, highline franchise dealer in the Richmond area. After a few years there he gained some experience working for another independent used car dealer in Richmond. What he gained from his experience was the knowledge necessary to run a small used car dealership with the quality of service you normally only find at the larger dealerships.
Today, Charles is responsible for all the buying. He is well-respected by other car dealers, new and used alike, and is able to find the highest quality vehicles for the best prices. Chris is in charge of sales and financing and he has the pleasure of working along side Rhonda Bass, their Office Manager.
The Rotary International Four-Way Test is the cornerstone of the way we do business here at Auto Discounters. It has been for years, and it will be in the future. Of the things we think, say or do:

Chris has been a Rotarian since 2006. He is also a member of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce.
In 2008, "Auto Discounters was awarded the Preferred Dealer Award by Preferred Warranties.
In June 2008, Chris Dimitris was awarded the Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award by the Brandermill Rotary Club. In 2009, Chris was awared the Presidents Citation in recognition of meritorious service and for furthuring the priciples and ideals of the Rotary way of life.
